Benjamin Kenneth Tolley

Benjamin Kenneth Tolley, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer.

Ben was born on September 17, 1949, in Cardston, Alberta, Canada, to Kenneth Dean Tolley and Alice Mildred Andrus Tolley.

He grew up on his parents' homestead in Mountain View, where his lifelong work ethic began early. Family members often joked that he was driving a truck on the farm before he was five years old. As a child, Ben was always at the center of any mischief, bringing laughter and adventure wherever he went.

Ben graduated from high school in 1968 and later served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England. During his mission, he developed lifelong friendships with many of the people he taught.

On June 22, 1973, Ben married Kristi Lynn Beazer, and together they welcomed two sons, Karson and Matthew.

He attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, where he earned a degree in Business Management. Ben worked for more than 20 years at the Del Monte plant in Burley, Idaho, where he was known as a dedicated and dependable employee. Ben later sold insurance for Combined Insurance Company and worked for Jayco after moving to Twin Falls.

Ben loved to dance. In 2000, he met Karla Marie Stanger at a singles dance in Burley. They were married on March 25, 2006, in the Boise Idaho Temple. Through their marriage, Ben lovingly embraced Karla's four adult children and their families as his own. Together, they were blessed with 22 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Being "Grandpa" was one of Ben's greatest joys, and he treasured every opportunity to spend time with his family.

Ben will be remembered for his quick wit, contagious laughter, and wonderful sense of humor. He always had a joke to tell and continued making those around him laugh until his final days.

Ben is survived by his children, Karson (Lawna) Tolley, Matthew (Amy) Tolley, Becky (Paul) Kearsley, Ryan (Deanna) Tolman, Randy Tolman, and Jared (Jessica) Tolman; his sisters, Marian (Oliver) Garrard and Geri (Tad) Labiuk; his brothers, Jim (Janet) Tolley and Larry (Beverly) Tolley; 22 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Karla Marie Tolley; his parents, Kenneth and Alice Tolley; and his grandson, Jestin Paul Kearsley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2296 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho
