Blanche Beverly Rasmussen was born on October 31, 1937, in the township of Colfax, Minnesota, to Harvin and Sigrid Christensen. She went up to Jesus on December 8, 2025, in Twin Falls, Idaho, at the age of 88 after a struggle with congestive heart failure. She was born the seventh of 10 children in a pastor‘s family. She married Jack Rasmussen on December 31, 1960. They were married for 47 years until his death in 2008. She was an avid reader, gardener and a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Through the years she held key leadership roles in Christian Women’s Club, Bible Study Fellowship and Twin Falls Reformed Church’s Son-Shine Circle. Her phone was often ringing, and she answered with kindness, interest and time. She will be greatly missed. Jack and seven of her siblings have gone ahead. Two sisters remain, Grace (Oregon) and Dorothy (Tennessee). She is also survived by her five sons - Jim (Linda), David (Sandra), John (Christine), Ronald (Brandi), Phillip (Karla) and 14 grandchildren. There will be a viewing Friday evening, December 19th from 5-7, at Rosenau’s Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held on December 20th at 11:00 at the Twin Falls Reformed Church with a graveside service prior at 9:30 at Sunset Memorial.
