Daniel A Creek

Dan Creek passed away in a fatal car accident near Hollister, Idaho on April 5th, 2019.  Dan was born March 5th, 1952 the son of Cliff and Margaret Creek. Dan grew up in Torrance, California, and graduated from South Torrance High School in 1970. He furthered his education at Northern Arizona University, where he played baseball and graduated with a degree in secondary education.  He worked for the Twin Falls School District 411 from 1977 to 2011, where he taught U.S. History and Driver’s Ed, and coached baseball and softball. Dan and Claudia were married in 1984 in Jerome, Idaho.  In retirement, he continued to work for the Twin Falls School District as a guest teacher, and he also worked for the Forest Service.  Dan treasured his time with his family, his friends, and his dogs. In particular, he loved spending time with his grandsons Calvin and Cooper.  In his spare time, he enjoyed buying, selling, trading, gifting, and working on anything with a motor. Dan is survived by his wife Claudia (Van Patten) Creek, his son Cliff (Kari) Creek, brothers Gary (Becky) Creek, Ron (Bonnie) Creek, and grandsons Calvin and Cooper.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, Twin Falls County Youth Baseball and Softball, Twin Falls Animal Shelter or the charity of your choice.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 5-7 pm., at the Brickhouse in Twin Falls, 516 Hansen St.
