Dianne Ruth Van Beek

Dianne Ruth Posthumus Van Beek, born January 22, 1943 passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026 following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Dianne was also known as Dear, Lady Di, Honey Beeks, Gram and GIGI.

She found her greatest joy in being a wife, mother and Gigi. Her family was the center of her world and nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with those she loved.

She created a home filled with love, kindness and cherished memories that will continue to bless her family for generations.

One of her favorite traditions was Sunday dinners at her home watching the grandkids play wiffle ball and run around the bases hitting bombs as they said. Her greatest pride and deepest joy were her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom held a special place in her heart.

Jack and Dianne were married March 30, 1962. Jack and Dianne moved to Idaho from Chino, California in 1973, living in Gooding for 6 months before purchasing the Van Beek Dairy in Jerome. She is survived by her husband, Jack, together they raised a family that became her greatest joy and life‘s proudest accomplishment. She was married to Jack for 63 years. Jack and Dianne snowbirded in "Paradise", Palm Springs for over 27 years. Enjoying many years of memories golfing, dinners out and visits from friends and family. Her happiest moments were spent with those she loved.

She was incredibly classy as she was nicknamed, Lady Di. She was an avid golfer, she was especially proud of achieving a hole-in-one at Blue Lakes on hole #9. It was a moment she celebrated with great joy with many of her closest friends.

Above all she loved the Lord, her faith in Jesus Christ gave her strength throughout her life and now gives her family peace. Although our hearts are broken, we rejoice in knowing that she is home with her savior, completely healed, restored and surrounded by his everlasting love. We look forward with hope to the day we will see her again.

She is survived by her children Kim Barnes, Deborah (Larry) Bos, Jill (Alan) Stutzman, Jonathon (Angel) Van Beek; Grandkids: Matthew (Roxanne) Bos, Kristopher (Megan) Bos, Kevin Bos, Angela Barnes, Michael Barnes, Braden, Jackson and Kaden Stutzman, Scarlett Borges, Taylor (Lola) Borges, Gabrielle, Savannah & Matthew Hines; Great grand kids: Adlee, Witten, Taylee, Holdyn, Scarlett, Willa, Rook and Indygo. She is preceded in death by her parents Albert & Grace Posthumus; brother Albert Posthumus; sister Evie Sauer, brother in-law Jim Sauer and brother in-law Jim De Young.

A funeral service will be held on August 1, 2026 at 11:30 at the Twin Falls Reformed Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
