Doris Nadine Hall

August 28, 1929 — January 29, 2024

Twin Falls

Doris Nadine Hall—a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother passed into Heaven on Monday, January 29, 2024 in her independent-living apartment at Bridgeview Estates in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Doris Nadine (Pendland) Hall, was born on August 28, 1929, in Sabetha, Kansas, to Samuel “Clayton” and Ruby Pendland. She spent her childhood and teenage years in Kansas until she met Daryl Hall of Humboldt, Nebraska and they were married on March 31, 1949.  After a short time in Humboldt, they moved to Denver, Colorado to be nearer to her family members and raise their own family. After four decades of working for two families that made her a part of theirs, Doris retired at age 82. They lived in the Denver area for over 60 years until Daryl passed away in 2013. Doris moved to Twin Falls Idaho in 2014 to be with her son, Larry, and his family. She was so grateful and loved to be a part of the extended family. During that time, she was greatly saddened to lose her granddaughter in Denver, Tia Cramm, whom she has now reunited with in Heaven.

She was a spunky, confident and secure lady who was very proud of her independence in her own apartment at Bridgeview. Doris (Dory) adored her phone because it was her connection to her two sisters, her children, grandchildren, and friends and family. Even as she started losing her vision, Siri would respond to her bidding day and night. She also loved BINGO and was so proud of her Oscar trophy for being the "Best BINGO player.”  Her BINGO friends became her family and they were so saddened at her passing! She also loved singing in the Bridgeview Choir with her lovely alto voice and enjoyed the dinner music of Makin’ Tracks and the Rim Rock Singers! Most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She had a calm and everlasting peace. She often said she didn’t worry because it was all in God’s hands.

Doris is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Wayne) Brown , son Larry (Juli) Hall; grandchildren Tiffany (Chad) Tipton, Jarrett (Robbin) Hall, Kira (Kirk) Rosenau, and Jerry Cramm; great grandchildren Oliver Brown, Stella Brown, Carter Cramm, Skylar Cramm, Audrey Hall, Ellie Hall, Austin Hall, Elias Hall, Damon (Jacky) Rosenau, Tucker Rosenau, Andi Rosenau; and great, great-grandchild Wesley Rosenau. She is also survived by her sisters Edith (Francis) Aeschliman and Jean Allen, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her. Doris was preceded in death by her parents Samuel "Clayton" and Ruby Pendland, seven brothers and sisters, spouse Daryl Hall, and granddaughter Tia Cramm.

No memorial service is planned at this point. The Rosenau Funeral Home and Crematorium in Twin Falls, Idaho is assisting with the arrangements. Many thanks to her dear friends at Bridgeview and Heritage Hospice for loving and caring for her.
