Doyle Mason

July 18, 1937 — March 11, 2017

Doyle Mason, 79, of Twin Falls joined his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 11th at St Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. He passed peacefully, with his wife, Dee, by his side, following a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. Doyle was born July, 18, 1937 in Eckley, CO. to Arthur and Norma (Damon) Mason. He grew up in Filer, but has lived in Twin Falls most of his adult life. He graduated from Filer High School and attended Twin Falls Business College. He married Barbara DeBoard on September, 28, 1956. They were married 35 years until her death on December, 28, 1991. He married his sweetheart Dolores Kay on January 8, 1993. She lovingly cared for Doyle for the last several years, allowing him to remain at home. At a younger age, he and his brother Derl, started farming with their father. Doyle and his brother continued to farm together through the 1990's. Additionally, they were partners in Mason Farms Trucking. Doyle was a lifelong member of the Twin Falls First Church of The Nazarene. He served faithfully in many capacities. Doyle is survived by his wife Dolores, his daughter Cheri (Michael) Beus, son Jim (Corinne) Mason, step-daughter Margo (Nate) Hoffmeyer, grandchildren, Jeni (Zach) Martin, Jonathan (Emily) Beus, David Beus, Madi Mason and Shane McMichael, and great- grandchildren Abrahm, Eliza, and Jonas Martin and Matthew Beus. He is also survived by his brother Derl (Elaine) Mason and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Barbara. The family would like to thank Hospice Visions for their loving care in Doyle's final years. State St., Boise, ID 83702 Services for Doyle will be held at 1:00PM, Thursday, March 16 at Rosenau Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset memorial Park.
