It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Earl C. Larsen, age 60 of Twin Falls, ID on November 18, 2025. Earl leaves behind loving family and friends. His family includes: his sister and brother-in-law, Toni & Steve Price; his nephew, Matthew Larsen; his little buddy that brought much joy to his life, Kash Hatch; his aunt that he adored, Charlene Dory; and several cousins.
Earl was born in Ely, NV as the oldest child to Jesse and Earlene Larsen. Several years later, his family grew to include his sister, Toni and his brother, Danny. Later his family moved to Wells, NV where he was raised and graduated from high school. He later moved to Montana and after spending several years there, he moved to Twin Falls, ID. Earl enjoyed work from the young age of 14 when he started mowing lawns around the community of Wells. He would be seen throughout the town towing his lawn mower behind his 10-speed bicycle going from house to house. He worked hard and enjoyed saving money. He was looking forward to his upcoming retirement after working 28 years for Costco. He appreciated the opportunities his career provided, and his Costco family of friends meant so much to him.
Earl had a spirit that was unmistakably his own. He was a great storyteller and always kept a straight face, until eventually he would grin and you learned he was pulling your leg. He was a true friend to many, he was genuine, and he was always a gentleman.
He loved live music concerts and started attending rock concerts in Utah while in high school. His love for and attendance to concerts continued throughout his lifetime. He also enjoyed coin collecting and was fond of fireworks – the louder, the better! He was well known for his fireworks from a very young age. Those who knew him best will remember his sense of humor, his generosity, his big heart, his loyalty, and his playful attitude. Earl’s presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those who loved him.
Earl was proceeded in death by his mom, Earlene, his brother, Danny, his grandparents, many aunts and uncles, several cousins, and soon after Earl’s death, his dad, Jesse.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Redhawk Gastropub, 330 Canyon Crest Drive, Twin Falls, ID starting at 3 pm with food present. The food will be served starting around 3:30pm - 4:00pm, we’d like to remind people since it’s soon after lunch and earlier than dinner, Costco has donated all the food and I’d hate for it to go to waste. Due to Earl’s love of fireworks, we are planning a firework display as a final send-off. Earl will be laid to rest beside his mom, dad, and brother in Elko, NV.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Twin Falls Optimist Club, PO Box 755, Twin Falls, ID 83301 or Valley House Homeless Shelter, 507 Addison Avenue West, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
