Geneva Jo Hubbard

Geneva Jo Hubbard, surrounded by family, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. At 87 years old, she was full of life until the end and immensely loved. For 60 years she and Ed Hubbard built a life together. They met while she was a waitress at a roller-skate drive-up restaurant. After meeting Ed, Geneva's mom would say that she couldn't throw out the dirty dish water without hitting him – he showed up so often. They went on to have one child together and fulfill their dream of having a dairy farm in Wendell, Idaho. She is remembered for her clarity of thought, strength of character, personal resolve, and the way she created beauty around her. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Thompson (& husband Rick), four grandchildren John (Melissa and their 5 children: Ethan, Hannah, Gabriella, Elijah, Kaedmon), James (Katie and their 3 children: Zoe, Liam, Nora), Paul, Elizabeth (Derek). She is also survived by three sisters: Helen Penkunas, Ruth Tillman and Nina Womack. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00AM Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Rosenau Funeral Home. A special thanks to all the staff at Saint Luke's Twin Falls for their care and comfort provided over the past week.
