Georgia “Dayle” Purdom Click, 89, passed away on January 19, 2026. She was born on March 11, 1936, in Fresno, California, to Lois and Stan Purdom.
Dayle grew up in Marin County and graduated from Sir Francis Drake High School in 1955. She raised three children as a devoted single mother and in 1961 she became a single mother and began a 36-year career with Southern Pacific Railroad in San Francisco, and retiring in 1997.
After retirement Dayle relocated to Twin Falls Idaho. She was an active member of the Twin Falls Lions Club. Her last years were spent at Avista Assisted Senior Living in Twin Falls.
Dayle was preceded in death by her parents; sister Susan Bechtel; and brother Brent Purdom. She is survived by her children Connie (Doug) Willens, Eileen (Steve) Castelli, and Walter (Becky) Jones, John Hooker (father of Brian and Stacia Hooker); grandchildren Brian and Stacia Hooker, Branden, Adrienne, and Alexis Garrison; sisters Lynn De La Montanya and Jennifer Hawk; 2 great grandchildren, a great-grandbaby due February 2026, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held February 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Avista Senior Living, 1880 Harrison St. North, Twin Falls, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Twin Falls Lions Club, P.O. Box 896, Twin Falls, ID 83303. Attn: Cheryl
