Helen Dee Requa, 86, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on May 3rd, 2026 while residing at Chardonnay Assisted Living Facility. During her time there, she received exceptional care and formed many cherished friendships.

Helen is survived by her two sons, Gary Jemison and Daryl Jemison; and by her three stepdaughters, Linda Bloyd and spouse, Keith Bloyd, Abby Gribble and her spouse, Tony, Patrick Gribble, and Jane Brosseau. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren: Eli; David and his spouse Bonnie and, Paul and his spouse Danielle; Angela and her spouse Misael; Cynthia and her spouse, Sam; Christina and her spouse; Tony, Amanda, Gabrielle and her spouse, Nathan, and Nakita; and Josa and her spouse, James. Helen’s legacy continues through her 24 great‑grandchildren, each one a treasured part of her life story.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Byron Perdue and Edna Perdue; her stepmother, Johnnie Ruth Perdue; her beloved husband, John Requa; her sisters, Karen Lee Eshom, Marie Little and Bennie Joe Allen; her brother, Buddy Perdue; and her daughter‑in‑law, Natasha Jemison.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great‑grandmother, and friend. Her life was marked by unwavering faith, and a deep love for her family. She was known for her warm hospitality—especially her famous chocolate chip cookies and the roast beef dinners she lovingly prepared for many years every Sunday afternoon. Her quilts, handmade for each grandchild upon graduation, remain treasured reminders of her love and devotion.
Helen’s faith guided every chapter of her life. She was mission minded and served faithfully in her community and churches, where she attended in AZ and Idaho. She loved and taught young children and was loved by all at Eastside Baptist Church. Helen and her husband John spent many years traveling and in their later years settled down on their family farm in Idaho.
After John’s passing, Helen was cared for by her sons, Gary and Daryl, whose love and devotion brought her great comfort. In her later years, she made her home at Chardonnay Assisted Living Facility, where she continued to touch lives with her prayers, kindness, grace, and gentle spirit.
Helen made friends wherever she went and was dearly loved by all who knew her.
We will miss her deeply and will forever remain grateful for the memories she leaves behind—memories of love, service, and steadfast devotion.
