Jacob Hankel

July 18, 1978 — September 28, 2024

Jacob Scott Hankel passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 28, 2024 in Twin Falls, ID at the age of 46.

Scott was born July 18, 1978 in Rupert, ID to John William Hankel and Florence Helen Parton. Scott grew up in Rupert, ID, Forrest Grove, OR, Snowville, UT and finally the Magic Valley area. Scot was a master of all things work related. He went to work for Hanks Custom Lawn Care where he became a huge part of the Hanks family. He was currently employed by Christiansen Construction. There too he made so many new friends.

When Scott was not working he still could not sit still. This is when he enjoyed doing his hobbies. He loved sturgeon fishing with his brother and friends. And he could always out fish them. He also liked riding ATVs and snowmobiling. His biggest hobby was always spending time with family.

Scott’s true loves were all of his nieces and nephews. He was the kind of uncle every kid dreams of having.

Scot is survived by his sisters; Angel Hankel, Esther Winmill of Burley, ID, Big brother; John (Cindy) of Wendell, ID, Nephews; Dacian and Chaz Winmill, Adam (Whitney) Hankel of Wendell, Nieces; Aleah Garbanati of Perry, UT, Blakelyn and Benelli Winmill, Kody Strate and Paisley Hankel.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and many aunts and uncles. Scott’s smile and infectious laugh will be missed by so many. He was truly one of the good ones. Fly high Scotty!
