John Dejesus

March 8, 1926 — January 12, 2010

John Vincent Dejesus of Twin Falls, Idaho died January 12, 2010 at St Luke’s Magic Valley after a lengthy illness. John was born March 8, 1926 in Oakley, CA. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII from 1944 to 1946. John was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to travel and fish in California, Oregon and Idaho. John was a member of the Moose Lodge in Twin Falls. He lived in Oakley, CA until 1991 when he moved to Twin Falls. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen of Twin Falls; daughter and son-in-law Colleen and Ron Bovert of Oakley, CA.; daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Brent Jussel of Twin Falls; grandchildren Justin Bovert of Sacramento, CA., Adam Jussel of Seattle, WA., Sarah Bovert of Sacramento, CA. and Kevin Jussel of Seattle, WA.; sisters Mary Lou Cox of Antioch, CA., Lucille Davis (Rod) of Antioch, CA., Lorraine Avery (Jim) of Penn Valley, CA., Adeline Riley (Joe) of Castro Valley, CA., and Rose Helms (Bob) of Brentwood, CA.; brothers Manual Dejesus (Mary) of Fruitland, ID, Edward Dejesus of Antioch, CA., and Ernie Dejesus (Sharon) of Brentwood, CA.; sisters-in-law Sharon M. Dejesus of Oakley, CA., and Darlene Dejesus of Grass Valley, CA. John is also survived by 26 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Dejesus and brothers George Dejesus and Alfred Dejesus. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Memorial services will be held at 4:30 pm, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave. E., Twin Falls.
