John Ellsworth Jones

John Ellsworth Jones 81 passed away Feb 7th, 2026 at St. Lukes Magic Valley in Twin Falls, Idaho. John was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on Nov 6, 1944. John moved around with his parents and siblings. John lived in Pocatello where he went to school, moved to Carey, ID where he went into the Airforce for a stint was medically discharged. John moved with his family to Halfway, ID and Richfield, where he worked in the bees in Jerome with Elmo Patterson. John worked manufacturing homes, then on to Pendelton, OR. When he moved to Salem, OR where he met the love of his life Sharron Brown. They worked together in janitorial. They moved back to Buhl, ID. In 2024, he moved into Bridgeview in Twin Falls, Idaho. John loved sightseeing, movies, his friends, family, cars, and computer. John was a good brother. He kept his memory sharp. Always into history, movies, music. John will be missed by his family. Surviving is Sharron, his son, Chris, his brothers; Hosea K. Jones (Brittany) and Lyman D Jones (Deborah), his sisters; Patti A Thacker (Noel) and Sandra K Thiemann (Richard). Many nieces and nephew, preceded in death by his father, Hosea A Jones, Mother, Lera D Jones, brothers; Grant Taylor Jones, Lester Jones, Archie Jones, Marion Jones, sisters; Lera Grace, Muriel Tierberry, and Nancy Warner.
