Larry Lee Adams

August 2, 1946 — February 25, 2022

Larry Lee Adams, 75, of Kimberly, ID, passed away peacefully on February 25th at St. Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls. He was born in Burke, SD on August 2nd, 1946 to Lawrence and Martha Adams, the youngest of three children. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1964 and enlisted in the US Army in 1966. He was honorably discharged in 1969 after returning from Germany. Larry married Sheryl Royse on August 16th, 1969 in Gooding, ID, where they resided before moving to Kimberly to start their family of two daughters and one son. He worked in construction until he started his career of 30 years with Idaho Power Company where his co-workers became family. He retired in 2007 as a line crew foreman. Larry took pleasure in cooking for his family and others and had a love of the outdoors. There wasn’t an outdoor sport that he didn’t master, whether it was hunting, fishing for walleye, or golfing. In his retirement years, you could always find him down at Canyon Springs, his favorite golf course where he won many tournaments and made many friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and much more. Larry is survived by his wife, Sheryl Adams, his children Kari (JS) Cutler, Brandi (Eric) Dick, Jeremy Adams, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence, mother Martha, and sister Alta Vincent. The family sends their gratitude to Dr. Padavanija, Carolyn S.Doedyns, NP, and the staff at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Twin Falls for their wonderful care and compassion. As per his request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent in memory of Larry, made payable to MV Junior Golf Foundation, PO Box 5455, Twin Falls, ID 83303
