Marjorie Wilmoth McIntire Kinsey has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed away peacefully in her home on July 16th, 2025, just three days short of her 104th birthday. Wilmoth “Willie” was born July 19th, 1921 and raised on the N Ranch south of Kimberly, Idaho. Pleasant Valley School, where she attended in her elementary years, was just a short horseback ride from her home. She graduated from Kimberly High School and went on to earn her teaching degree from Albion Normal School. In 1949, she married Bill Kinsey, and together they operated the ranch and raised three children: Dan, Valerie, and Deena.
Horses and cattle were a way of life for Wilmoth. From riding bareback and roaming the hills on her favorite horses to gathering cattle or sorting on the rodear grounds, Wilmoth was happiest on a horse. She was also known for her gift of music. She sang with a clear and classic birdsong voice, while accompanying herself on her favorite guitars. She sang and played guitar with her band well past the age of 100.
Wilmoth was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kinsey, her children Dan Kinsey, Valerie Kinsey, and Deena (Billy) Windsor, and one grandchild, Brian Windsor. She is survived by her grandchildren Jamey (Vicky) Kinsey, Pepper (Cord) Kinsey-Ederer, Jenny (Luke) Fuller, Philine (SP) Kinsey, Lynnie Owings, and Justin (Kaylee) Trudeau. She has nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
