Maria Bernadette Flores

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Bernadette Flores at her home on March 17, 2026. Born on February 5, 1959, on the beautiful island of San Jorge, Azores, Maria brought warmth and light into the lives of everyone she encountered. Her journey, though marked by health struggles, was a testament to her unwavering spirit and boundless love. 

Maria's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and an unyielding devotion to her family. Maria is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Ursula Cabral. She was the beloved wife of Carlos Flores, with whom she shared 39 glorious years of marriage. Together, they created a life full of joy, raising three wonderful children: Madalena Flores, Carlos Flores, and Christina (Adam) Camara. Their family was Maria's heart and soul, and her love for them was immeasurable. 

Her legacy lives on through her five precious grandchildren, who were the light of her life, as Maria spent countless hours reading stories and sharing her wisdom with them. Alongside her immediate family, Maria's memory will be cherished by her devoted sisters, Manuela Cabral and Laura Berry, who were her lifelong confidantes and friends. 

An artist at heart, Maria had a flair for decorating, crafting, and creating floral arrangements that transformed ordinary spaces into beautiful places. Her home was a reflection of her vibrant spirit, adorned for every holiday with love and meticulous attention to detail. Those who were fortunate to witness her creativity were left in awe of her talent and dedication. 

A funeral mass to celebrate Maria's life will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Edward the Confessor, located at 161 Sixth Ave E in Twin Falls with the viewing beginning at 9:30. Family and friends are warmly invited to come together and honor her memory. 

As we say goodbye to a remarkable woman who touched so many lives, we hold onto the special message from her family: "Forever in our hearts and minds. Continued prayers appreciated” Maria Bernadette Flores will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, adoring grandmother, cherished sister, and a true friend. Her legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. 

May Maria find eternal peace with God and all the saints and angels in heaven, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
