Marshall Major Stierer, 02/15/2013 – 07/03/2026
Marshall Major Stierer, just 13 years old, of Twin Falls, ID, passed away, surrounded by family, from complications with leukemia in Boise at the St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital on Friday July 3, 2026. He had fiercely battled acute myeloid leukemia since his original diagnosis in May of 2025.
Marshall was born in Boise in February 2013 to Josh and Elaina Stierer, his loving and devoted parents. He recently attended O’Leary Middle School, where they enjoyed his friends and classmates, Idaho history, and running with the cross country team. When not in school, he LOVED camping with his family, baseball, college football, practical jokes, and performing small acts of kindness for others.
The Stierer family are devastated by this loss. Marshall, 13 years old, had a vibrant future ahead of him. Despite this tragedy, his family cherish the memories they had during their time together, including camping at his favorite spot and going to the lake. Marshall lit up every room he walked in.
Marshall is survived by his parents Josh and Elaina, his siblings Jillian, Tyson, Lily, Brooks, and Abbey.
Funeral service is 11:00am Friday July 17, 2026 at the LDS chapel on 541 Orchard Drive, and the viewing will be held at 10am the morning of, at the chapel.
A gofundme has been set up on behalf of the family to cover medical costs and cemetery expenses. To best honor Marshall, family requests anyone who wishes, to perform a small act of kindness or service to others.
