Michael Brailsford Devine

Sep 21, 1933 — Feb 13, 2026

Michael Brailsford Devine, age 92, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away peacefully with his sons Brian and Tim by his side on Friday February 13,2026. He was born September 21,1933, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Matthew and Mary Ann Devine. He enjoyed spending time growing up on the Brailsford ranch in Buhl with his cousins. After graduating high school he went on to Lawrence College, Appleton, Wisconsin and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in 1957. He married Patricia Johnston and together they had six children. Once that union ended he found love again.

He met Susan Wingert at an office where they worked together. Michael was a race car driver, so naturally their first date was at Road American Racetrack in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin and they fell in love and were married on September 6th, 1969. Together Michael and Susan welcomed two more children. They purchased the Bowladrome in Twin Falls, Idaho where they moved and were happily married for 52 wonderful years.

Our dad loved to camp and took us on many adventures. He loved racing cars and riding motorcycles. He also loved all dogs, especially Maggie who was with him until the end. He loved family gatherings, watching golf, and BSU football.

He will be remembered as the most loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and patriarch of the family. Michael will be missed dearly by his children - Robin (Dave) Chavich, Laura (Bob) Burnett, Jayne (Bryan) Matsuoka, Mike (Lynette) Devine, Tim (Tonya) Devine, Brian Devine, Brian (Crissy) Hatch;13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.

Michael is now in Heaven reunited with his beautiful wife Susan, his son Jeffrey Devine, his daughter Jennifer Devine-Hatch, his grandson Nicolas Devine, his parents Matthew and Mary Ann Devine and his sister Ann Devine.
