Michael Dickson

Aug 9, 1955 — Jun 19, 2026

Michael (Mike) Dickson, a lifelong resident of Kimberly, Idaho, went to meet his Lord on June 19th, 2026.

Born August 9th, 1955 in Choteau, Montana to Maurice and Annette Tate Dickson. Mike graduated from Kimberly High School in 1973. Small in size he wrestled for the school. After graduating he entered culinary school in Portland, Oregon, hoping to join the merchant marines after graduation but was declined because of having asthma.

Mike was raised by his grandparents, Abb and Mary Tate. He was loved and adored by his Grandpa and Grandma Tate. The Lord blessed Mike with a beautiful singing voice which he used to sing for church, funerals and other occasions. He sang for his beloved Grandma’s funeral, (she wouldn’t have wanted anyone else). Mike attended The Stamps Quartet School of Music in Texas.

Mike and Sunee were married at the Kimberly Nazarene Church and loved each other for 37 years. They purchased their home next to the house Mike grew up in on Center Street in Kimberly.

Leaving behind is his wife Sunee, daughter Lisa and husband Taylor Easterday, grandsons Christian and Alex Easterday, his pride and joy. Sisters Johanna and husband Ron Rutter, Sue and husband Hank Rathbun. Nieces Nicki, Lisa, Kendi, and Tammy, along with his great nieces and nephews.

Thanks to Inhabit Hospice for wonderful Shirley, Jessica, Todd and Pastor Mike.

Rather than flowers, donations to the Kimberly Nazarene Church would be appreciated.

A Memorial Service honoring Mike will be held on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kimberly Nazarene Church. Sunee and Lisa would like to thank Helen, Martha and Charlie for all the love and care the last 2 years of Mike's declining, making special holiday meals for Sunee and Mike and joining them remembering the good old days. That is a true friendship forever.
