Norma Hockett Corder Hyde, 82 of Twin Falls passed away November 14, 2025 at Avista Assisted Living in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was born on January 23, 1943 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Harry and Madge (Armstrong) Hockett. She grew up in Twin Falls county. She married Garry Corder in 1959. They raised three sons: Todd Corder, Nathan (Laura) Corder, and Cloyce (Michelle) Corder. They later divorced. She then married Robert Loyd Hyde on October 12, 2001.
Norma worked at St. Lukes of Magic Valley Memorial Hospital for over 40 years. She became friends with the “lab ladies” and they stayed friends for over 50 years. They kept in touch by having monthly luncheons.Norma was a great cook, a great chocolatier, and she made the best caramels in the world. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed taking the grandkids on adventures and to the movies.She is survived by: her three sons Todd Corder, Nathan (Laura) Corder, and Cloyce (Michelle) Corder, sister Ruth (Sherman) Hansen along with seven grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her two sisters, her husband Robert Hyde and numerous family members.Norma will be deeply missed by all that knew her and loved her.A graveside service will be held November 28th at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls. Arrangements are under the discretion of Rosenau Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers the family requests making donations to Shriners Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
