Oo Reh, age 85, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family.
He was born on January 1, 1941, in Shardaw Village, Kayah State, Burma to Baw Reh and Shar Meh. He was a farmer all his life and he married Say Mor and later divorced. In 2010 he and his family escaped from dictatorship government and lived in Thai Refugee camp before he re-settled to Boise and then Twin Falls Idaho in 2016. He carried his roots with pride and built a life centered on love and family.
He was a devoted father to his children, Htwa Meh, Deh Reh (Nga Meh) and Maung Ni and a deeply cherished Grandpa to his grandkids, Say Reh (Nga Myar) Kyae Meh (Soe Reh), Klaw Reh Woody, Htwa Reh, Soe Reh, Oo Meh, Bu Reh, Christina Meh, Moe Reh, Law Meh and Klaw William.
He has many great grandchildren, including David Parker, Victoria Praymeh, Elizabeth Nehmor, Teresa Htwameh, Steven Behreh, Gcovanni Soe, Dennis Soe, Alice Soe, Naw Aye Woody and Andrea Woody.
Oo Reh survives by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished friends who were like family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Oo Reh was loved by many and will be remembered for his caring spirit, quiet strength, and the love he freely gave to those around him. He will be dearly missed.
Catholic Mass Service will be held beginning at 10 am. Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave. E., Twin Falls ID 83301.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Twin Falls, Idaho after the service.
