Pixy Kleinkopf, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025.
Born on October 5, 1941, in Fallon, Nevada, to Elmer and Alta Woolverton, Pixy lived a full and joyful life defined by love, laughter, and service to others. After graduating from high school in 1959, she attended the University of Idaho, where she was an active and proud member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She later earned her degree in education from Sacramento State University.
Pixy began her career teaching second grade, touching young lives with her patience, warmth, and creativity. She helped put her husband Gale Kleinkopf through graduate school, and together they built a life filled with adventure, community, and devotion.
She was the proud mother of Kevin Kleinkopf, born September 22, 1967, and she poured her heart into raising him. Whether serving as the “team mom” for Little League or the ever-enthusiastic “groupie” for Kevin’s many rock bands, Pixy was always there — cheering, supporting, and celebrating.
Her later years were filled with the joy of family, as she delighted in her two grandchildren, Casey and Katie, who were the light of her life. She and Gale split their time between Twin Falls and Arizona. Known for her quick wit, generous heart, and boundless energy, Pixy was truly the life of every party. She was a loyal friend, a thoughtful listener, and a constant source of joy to all who knew her.
Pixy is survived by her loving husband Gale, son Kevin and daughter-in-law Tia, grandchildren Casey and Katie, and brother Gary Woolverton.
Her legacy of love, laughter, and light will live on through all who had the privilege of knowing her.
