Roger Dennis Bolton

Roger Bolton, 81, passed away on June 19, 2026 in Twin Fall, Idaho surrounded by his family. He was born on May 24,1945 in Canandaigua, New York to Dennis and Lorna Bolton, one of 5 siblings: Todd (Treva) Bolton; Mary Ann Hochhalter; Sandra Freeman; Denise (Fritz) Gratzer. In 2024 thanks to Ancestry, they discovered an older sister in Christchurch, NZ: Delwyn Garters.

Roger graduated from TFHS in 1963 and joined the National Guard. After his service he then worked as a jack of all trades from a Fireman to an Electrical Contractor. He married Vickie Muegerl on September 1, 1983: and together they had 6 children. Roger enjoyed darts, rafting, hunting, fishing and definitely golf.

Roger is survived by his wife Vickie of 43 years, his children: Kristi Stone, Jennia and Sean Menard, Jason Muegerl, and Jeff, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his daughters Regina and Brenda and his nephew Benjamin.

Roger didn’t know many enemies. They could come in mad but by the time they left they were friends for life. Roger will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Viewing will be Friday June 26, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM with services following at 11:00 at Rosenau Funeral Home. We will then go to Sunset Memorial Park at 1:00, to then return to the Funeral Home for desserts and refreshments to share our favorite stories.
