Rose Fisher

Rose was born into a family of Hungarian farmers who lived in the small village of Vrbecia, Yugoslavia during the last years World War II. After the war, the family all moved to Chicago, IL. As a young lady, while living in Chicago, Rose had her first child; a boy named William (“Bill”). Rose moved to southern California a few years later where she married her first husband and had her second child; a boy named Frank. Rose lived in the greater Los Angeles area; briefly in Carson City, NV; and spent several years living in The Coachella Valley where her boys grew up and went to school. Rose worked in the restaurant business, and she owned several businesses over the years. She was a chef, and even a pastry chef at a large country club. Her cooking skills were extraordinary! Rose loved plants, was a very accomplished gardener, and developed her painting skills for many years. She was also a lover of animals and almost always had a companion animal; she raised many very happy dogs and cats. Rose retired to the Twin Falls area in Idaho where she shared her skills with aspiring students. There she made many friends and will be dearly missed. Rose is survived by her two sons.
