Sally Elaine (Fleenor) Williamson passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of February 26, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by her loving family, she faced her illness with unwavering faith in the Lord, remarkable strength, positivity, and grace—comforting those around her even in her hardest moments.
Sally grew up in Hollister, Idaho, as one of eight children born to Leroy and Maureen (Dowd) Fleenor. She often spoke of how truly blessed she felt to have grown up in such a close-knit, loving family.
Sally met the love of her life, Randy Williamson, in seventh grade. They married in 1972 and shared nearly 54 years of marriage filled with life’s challenges, joys, and deep friendship. Together, they devoted themselves to raising their children, whom Sally described as the greatest achievement of her life. Their children—Amy, Diana, Todd, and Dallas—were her world. Tragically, they lost Amy and Todd as toddlers due to a genetic condition. The family finds comfort knowing she is now reunited with them in heaven.
Sally was an eternal optimist and a hardworking woman who balanced raising her family with multiple roles. She ran a preschool and daycare for many years, touching countless children’s lives and families. She also stepped in to drive a school bus whenever needed. Sally continued her education, earning a degree in Early Childhood Development and later pursuing a Nursing degree. She worked as a nurse with the same love and passion she always showed children, but she eventually felt drawn back to childcare, where she continued working with dedication until her retirement.
Sally found immense joy in her five grandchildren—Devin, Erica, Kynzi, Zeke, and Gavin—who were always on her mind. She would drop everything to care for and support them, making every holiday joyous and magical with games and little surprises, no matter their age. She was eagerly looking forward to meeting her first great-grandson this spring. As a family, we take comfort knowing they were blessed with such a devoted grandmother, who now watches over them from heaven.
A devoted believer in Jesus Christ, Sally’s faith sustained her through life’s many trials. Even in pain, she consoled her loved ones with her peace about meeting her Lord and Savior. She was a dependable friend, the rock of our family, and someone you could always count on. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and close friendships.
Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Randy; her mother-in-law, Barbara Williamson; her children, Diana (Shawn) Goff and Dallas (Jamie) Williamson; her grandchildren, Devin (Cheyenne) Goff, Erica (Austin) Dick, Kynzi (Deven) Williamson, Zeke (Mia) Williamson, and Gavin (Sydney) Williamson; and her sisters by choice and close friends, Donna Smith and Cindy Esposito. She is survived by her brothers, John & Jim (Amy) Fleenor; her sisters, Sue Fleenor, Helen (Greg) Brown, and Debbie (Steve) Anonson; and a large extended family of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her children Amy & Todd, her parents, and sibling Katie Scott & David Fleenor.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Per Sally’s request, a private, intimate service will be held to celebrate her life.Mom, Grandma—you will be profoundly missed. You were a blessing to all of us. We love you forever.
