Slavko Ivanovic of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away, unexpectedly, in his home on April 29, 2023.
Slavko was born on February 19, 1967, to Radisav and Desanka Ivanovic in Gorazde, Yugoslavia. His childhood was spent playing basketball which was a passion he carried through the entirety of his life. In 1989, Slavko met Ljiljana Kostic and they began dating soon after. After a year of riding buses back and forth to see each other, they were married on October 10, 1991, a date Slavko would commemorate by the license plate on his vehicle. A short while later they moved to Montenegro where they welcomed their first daughter Anja.
In 2000, the family decided to leave Montenegro and make the move to the United States. Arriving in Twin Falls, Idaho they set up their home and Slavko began working at Jerome Cheese Company. Slavko was employed at Jerome Cheese Company for 23 years and had progressed into a management role.
Enna came into the family in 2004 and soon enough became Slavko’s 1 on 1 partner in basketball spending time together in the driveway shooting hoops.
Slavko enjoyed the trips to see his grandchildren in Boise and was an expert on the coffee shops around Twin Falls. Meeting friends for coffee was a weekend pastime that was rarely missed. His dog Zeus was the poster child for man’s best friend.
Slavko is preceded in death by his father Radisav and mother Desanka. He leaves behind his wife Ljili, daughter Anja Haynes (Louie) and grandchildren Kade and Kass of Boise, Idaho, and daughter Enna. Slavko is also survived by his brother Zeljko Ivanovic of Meridian, Idaho. Friends that are too numerous to count and last, but certainly not least, Zeus, his beloved dog.
