His stories and history lessons will be missed.
Steve was a lifelong outdoorsman as were his father and brothers. He grew up hunting and fishing in the Magic Valley where he later taught all his children and grandchildren gun safety and ethics. Steve's remembrance from his beloved fur baby Phoebe:
When Daddy and Mommy came to the Twin Falls Humane Society looking for a companion forever fur baby, we locked eyes and looked at each other... I knew right away they were going to be my forever safe, loving family and home. My :human" Daddy, Steve was so nice and fun, he always took me for drives and gave me treats. I didn't like it when he took me to the doggie doctor, but I always knew he would be eight there with me to tell me everything was going to be alright. He always made me feel safe and loved. I loved my "human" Daddy, and I miss him so much. I know that my "human" Mommy Sandy will take good care of me and I need to be here for her too. I know she missed my "human" Daddy as much as I do.
Steve requested no services, and in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Twin Falls Humane Society in Steve's name... as he said numerous times; "Don't worry about burying me, just put my ashes in a Folgers Coffee can and I'll be just fine."
Steve and Sandy grew together in their faith in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Steve is now in his Heavenly Home sitting at the feet of Gob and enjoying his heavenly reward.
