Troy Marshall Gordon

Troy Marshall Gordon, 60, passed away on September 18, 2025, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Born on April 2, 1965, in Newkirk, Oklahoma, Troy brought warmth and joy to those around him throughout his life.

A gifted mechanic, Troy worked at Chobani, where his skill and dedication were widely recognized. He had an incredible ability to accomplish anything he set his mind to—a trait that defined both his professional and personal life.

Troy was a devoted father to his daughter Zoiey Gordon Burnham (Bryce) and son Troy Gordon (Lexi), and a proud papa to his beloved granddaughters Oaklie Brenda and Paisley. His bond with Oaklie was especially cherished during their shared hot tub time—moments filled with laughter and love. He also held close relationships with his brother Darin Gordon (Melissa), ex-wife Janelle Gordon, niece and nephews Amber Staffen, Bryce Trujillo, Ashlynn Wolf, and Dustin Gordon.

He was preceded in death by his mother Brenda Vernon, father Robert Vernon, Grandma and Grandpa Gordon, sister Tammy Gillespie, and others whose memories he carried with him.

Troy’s life was rich with passions that reflected his vibrant spirit. He enjoyed shopping at Acquired Treasure in Twin Falls, where he built lasting friendships with the owners. A loyal sports fan, he cheered for the Denver Broncos, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Kansas Jayhawks, Colorado Rockies, Colorado Avalanche and NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon. He found peace in nature—gardening while watching birds and squirrels—and joy in camping trips made possible with the help of his children.

His home was often filled with worship music or the familiar humor of Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond. Whether sipping coffee or playing dominos or pool, Troy embraced life’s simple pleasures. His blue heeler Frehley remained a loyal companion through many seasons of life.

Above all else, Troy’s deep faith guided him daily. A celebration of life will be held on October 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pebbles Pond, 4035 N 2300 E Rd.
